About Chinemenma Umeseaka (Mrs.)

Chinemenma Umeseaka fondly called Chichi or Aunty Chichi by her teenagers is the foremost Teenage Coach in Nigeria. She's a 35 year-old wife and mother of four children. She's been married for 14 years and counting. Chichi is an international Teenage Coach and through her initiative "9ineteen Works", has reached out to many of teenagers in various states in Nigeria.
Aunty Chichi is a Journalist by training; she"s a graduate of Mass Communication from Abia State University, Uturu. She graduated from the University in 2005, at the age of 21. She also got Certificate for Entrepreneurial Management (CEM) from Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) an arm of Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University (in 2010). She got this certification on a scholarship from Goldman Sachs (an International Bank) (2010). She is a certified Teenage Coach and Counselor. She has carved a niche for herself on teen/youth mentoring. She is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Works from the Federal College of Dental technology and Therapy, Enugu, Nigeria.

She is the Special Adviser to the Abia State Governor on Teenage Matters (appointed March 27, 2017 and re-appointed September 11, 2019); an On Air Personality (OAP) on 92.3 Inspiration FM, TV show Host on African Independent Television (AIT) International (started 2017); Inspirational speaker; magazine Publisher (9ineteen Magazine) (since 2012); People Builder and a Social Entrepreneur. Her weekly “LIVE” programs, “Teens Time with Chichi” airs on four (4) radio stations in Nigeria: 92.3 Inspiration FM, Lagos (Lagos State); People"s 93.1 FM, Bayelsa (Bayelsa State); 105.9 Inspiration FM, Uyo (Akwa Ibom State) and 104.1 Vision Africa FM, Umuahia (Abia State).
She is also part of weekly “LIVE” programs on FLO 94.9 FM, Umuahia (Parenting Showtime) and 99.9 LOVE FM, Umuahia (Omnibus Show – A Human Rights Radio Show)
She is the Founder of 9ineteen Damsels Football Club (Founded 2021). 9ineteen Damsels FC is a grassroot club that recently qualified in May 2021 into the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL).

9ineteen Works, through Aunty Chichi has been in partnership with the Ministry of Education Lagos State and Abia State since 2013. She has access to over 3000 Junior and Senior Secondary Schools under the six Education districts in Lagos with over 20,000 students. In August 2016, during the long vacation 9ineteen Hub (the hub is the skills training and incubator for teens), partnered with Education District 111 Eti Osa in Ikoyi to organize ‘Leadership/ Vocational skills training for over 1000 students on 12 different skills. The training covered photography, web designing, catering, hair dressing, make up, household items, tie & dye, bead making, public speaking, content development, shoe cobbling, barbing, etc. In 2017, 9ineteen Hub moved to Abia State and Bayelsa and trained 2,500 teenagers and young adults in Aba and Umuahia and 700 teenagers and young adults in Bayelsa. In 2018, 9ineteen Hub trained more teenagers and young adults and some received seed money and sowing machines for the tailoring class
Apart from being a busy Mom, and with her hands full with coaching her teenagers, she runs her own businesses as well. Her major business is her cleaning and supply business called Whyte Vine Servicers. Whyte Vine, which commenced business in 2008, has a large corporate clientele made of High Net-worth Individuals, Banks, etc. Whyte Vine.

Chichi has partnered with some IT programmers to develop an app called ‘HelpOga".
This is to help people find cleaners online. Aunty Chichi has reached out to over 20,000 teenagers and parents through her different teenage platforms. She is very passionate about teenagers and young adults, their wellbeing, and their direction in life.
Chichi's vision is to nurture teens to excellence in outlook and strength in character. She uses the media to inform, educate, inspire, entertain and promote teenagers. She is huge on education, as her Enterprise donated over 10,000 books and dictionaries to Abia state in March 2016. She and her teenagers raised over 1000 textbooks, motivational books, dictionaries, and exercise books individually and from ‘Pearson"s Education UK" and opened community library for Makoko community in Lagos in 2015. She's raised over 2000 sanitary pads for poor teenage girls in 2015 too. She has sustained and spread this campaign into several states in Nigeria impacting the hygiene of thousands on girls in Nigeria. She raised underwear from BYC to donate to some of her under privileged teenagers. She organized 35 teenagers to work with LAWMA to help clean our environment; they swept the whole of Ozumba Mbadiwe/ Law School axis in Victoria Island, Lagos. She has reconciled parents with their teens a number of times. These and many more are some of the things she's achieved with her initiative.
Aunty Chichi is a highly sort after speaker in different teenage Churches. She"s the Teenage Church Leader of Streams of Joy International Church, Umuahia. She has spoken in different Redeem Church Provinces, TREM, SALEM, Winner"s Chapel Ghana, Foursquare and Anglican churches, to mention a few. She has spoken in different private and government secondary schools, in Universities, different youth organizations, different Religious organizations, etc.

Chichi has won several awards from various local, government and international organizations including awards from the Lagos State Government: Service Award in Vocational and Leadership Training in 2016 and THE UNSEEN AWARD from Initiatives for Change/MRA Nigeria in 2017 for her contribution to the development of teenagers and young people in Nigeria.
Chichi has reached out to teenagers in India, Uganda, Ghana, Togo, etc
In August 2019, Chichi organized a teen"s TV reality show. The show tagged ‘Teen’s Time Exchange’ was an exchange of culture, religion, tribe, social strata and so much more. 20 teenagers; 8 boys and 12 girls were housed in one space for 10 days. The unique boot camp was engaging, educational, fun and impact full. The teenagers were given different tasks and assignments in the house and were pushed, inspired to become more. They were also introduced to top leaders in business, politics, to be mentored. The Governor of the host state, His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.d also visited the housemates and answered all their questions on life, business, leadership, academics, etc. Teen’s Time Exchange is currently on AIT TV every Thursdays at 4.30pm
